HOMESTYLE BRICKS has transformed the humble brick market by introducing new, innovative products, creating new fashions and trends in the residential, commercial, mining and industrial building markets. One is bound to find at least one Homestyle product in any of the recent buildings found in Harare and beyond.

Jurgen Wicke – Non-Executive Director - (BCom Economics- University of Natal)
Jurgen has worked extensively in finance with the following companies:
- Old Mutual
- Standard Chartered Zimbabwe
- EDESA Zimbabwe
- Reuters Africa
He sits on several boards and has expertise in the field of corporate finance, compliance and capital raising transactions.
Peter Sandys-Thomas - Managing Director - (Executive) (BSc Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics- Rhodes University)
- In the first ten years Peter worked for the following financial institutions:
- Industrial Bank of Japan (London)
- Capital Equity Investments (London)
- First Mutual Life (Harare)
Peter then went on his own and was the founding director of the following companies:
- GP2 Asset Management (Private) Limited
- African Independent Research (Private) Limited
- Hang-Up (Private) Limited T/A Home-Style Candles
- Histride Investments (Private) Limited T/A Home-Style Bricks
He has vast experience in starting various green field operations and turning them into leading brand companies.
Maxwell Tauya – Finance Director (Non-Executive)
Maxwell has many years of experience in accounting, company secretarial, financial administration and taxation services. Presently he is a shareholder and Managing Director of Gramfox Enterprises (Private) Limited T/A Combined Accounting Services.
He is a Trustee to over one hundred Discretionary Trusts and a Director of several companies. Maxwell is also into cattle ranching and is a keen golfer.
Management
Johannes Van Westhuizen – General Manager
Johannes manages and coordinates the production aspects which includes all the machinery and labour to manufacture our different products. Johannes has a strong mechanical aptitude and being able to ensure all equipment is maintained and running properly, solving production problems and leading people. He has many years of experience of supervising the staff in manufacturing and the assembly plant.
Lyn Tapson - Finance Manager
Lyn runs and manages the finances of the company. She has many years of experience in all aspects of the finance sector. She is very pedantic in the way she works and has a very strong work ethic. She has put new systems in place, which has made things run a lot smoother with all accounts. Lyn works without supervision and is very committed to the company. We wish her a long and happy association with Homestyle Bricks.
Fidelis Chivarange - Sales & Marketing
Fidelis qualified in Sales Marketing and Public Relations. He has been working in sales for many years, selling cement related products for both Vaka Concrete and Zimtile. There is no one in Zimbabwe that has as much knowledge about this sectors clientele as him. He boasts a wealth of experience in this field and is a huge asset to our company.
Forward Kagande - Sales & Marketing (Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) -University of Zimbabwe)
Forward has worked extensively in Sales and Distribution Management in blue chip, listed Agro and Timber manufacturing companies. He identifies, develops and coordinates Sales and Marketing activities as well as managing the Pension portfolio of the organisation.
Julian Borcherds - Sales/Production
A Julian brings over 25 years of experience in business management, company accounts, IT systems, production, and logistics. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong ability to manage the operational and financial demands of a business while identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Julian combines commercial awareness, operational expertise, and practical problem-solving skills, allowing him to understand a business from both a strategic and hands-on perspective. His experience in building businesses from the ground up has given him a strong understanding of what is required to turn an idea into a sustainable and profitable company.
With more than two decades of experience across multiple areas of business, Julian is well positioned to lead teams, improve systems, manage resources, control costs, and drive businesses towards long-term profitability and success.
George Mutizwa - (Bachelor of Social Sciences in Industrial Relations Honours- Great Zimbabwe University)
George is an experienced Human Resources professional with expertise in Labour Relations, talent management and policy development. He spearheads the company’s formulation and implementation of strategic H.R initiatives that foster a productive and inclusive work environment.
Muneyi Muringidzi - Production (BA Religious Studies and Theology - Zimbabwe Open University)
Muneyi worked with the Ministry of Education as a Primary School teacher and with Pinnacle Property Holdings before joining Homestyle Bricks from its inception. He monitors, maintains and calibrates all our machines so that our products are produced to the highest standard.
Stanley Dandadzi - Production
Stanley has worked in the Construction Industry for many years. He has been with Keegan Enterprises and Sirtech Investments in the past. Stan has been with Home-Style Bricks from inception. He monitors all production to guarantee that our products are mixed with the correct ratios to produce products with strengths above the standards set by Standards Associations.
Mduduzi Mazinyani - Despatch
Mduduzi controls the stock levels of the company. He coordinates production and dispatch activities. He is committed to ensuring that the Company is well stocked and that the clients get the right products at the right time.
